About the Institute

A nonprofit with a long-term vision and real work underway.

The USA Institute of Sports is building an international sports academy for recruited student-athletes — and, today, funding the programs that put Pacific talent in front of the world.

Mission

The USA Institute of Sports builds the pathway for student-athletes from the South Pacific and around the world to Division I competition, a real education, and command of the business of their own careers.

Vision

An international sports academy where recruited student-athletes earn NCAA Division I academic eligibility, train at an elite standard, and graduate with the financial and business literacy to run their careers — on or off the field.

Who we are

Two tracks, one organization

The South Pacific produces elite athletes far out of proportion to its population. What it has lacked is a structured pathway: one that brings recruited student-athletes to NCAA Division I academic eligibility, develops them where college programs can see them, and teaches them the financial and business skills to run the careers that follow. The USA Institute of Sports was founded to build that pathway.

What we're building

An international sports academy for student-athletes recruited from the South Pacific and worldwide. The model combines NCAA Division I academic eligibility, elite athletic development, and a required financial and business curriculum. The academy is in concept phase: it is not enrolling, not accepting applications, and not charging tuition.

What we're doing now

Real programs, funded and running under the USA Institute of Sports, a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit: sending teams to international competition, equipping athletes with technology, preparing them for college entrance exams, and running youth and community programs. This is what every donation button on this site supports.
